STRESS MANGEMENT
Children and adolescents experience stress the same way adults do. Middle-schoolers can be very prone to stress because of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual changes they experience during these important years.
PEER PRESSURE
Entering middle school and becoming a teenager brings a lot of "pressures". What matters the most is how we handle them, and never let them get the best of us. Let's work together as a team to overcome this problem.
TIME MANAGEMENT
Middle school students can feel weary and stressed. The pressure of homework, social life, sports, and family responsbilites can become overbearing. By handling this in a postivie way, we have to adapt to these everyday changes and manage our time.
PERSONAL HYGIENE
Hygiene is a challenge for kids at any age. Keeping your body clean is a very important part of keeping you healthy and feeling good about yourself.
BULLYING
No place for bullies here! Bullying can take many forms. It can be physical, and it also can be emotional and social. Bullying can be used to hurt people, gossiping, leaving someone out, or even spreading rumors.
SELF ESTEEM
Students in middle school are going through so many changes that many have low self-esteem. It's important for them to understand that they each have wonderful and unique qualities that make them special.
